Dr. Lords has been in practice in Placentia for the past 25 years. He is married to Deborah and they have 4 children: Melissa, Trevor, Kimberly and Robert. He speaks fluent Spanish.

PREMEDICAL EDUCATION: He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT obtaining a B.S. degree in Zoology graduating with honors.

MEDICAL EDUCATION: He attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in
San Francisco, CA graduating with a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine.

INTERNSHIP:
He did an internship at the Los Angeles County General Hospital which rotated through all aspects of medical care and gained valuable experience there.

RESIDENCY:
He completed his residency program at the Southern California Podiatric Medical Center. This was primarily a surgical residency with emphasis placed on Pediatric and Diabetic cases. He also participated in the Baja Cripple Children's Project in Tijuana and Mexicali on week ends.

Certified in Extra Corporal Shock Therapy
Certified in Endoscopic Arthroscopy (Minimal Incision surgery for heel spur surgery)
Certified Carbon Dioxide Laser Therapy


HOSPITAL AFFILIATIONS: Active staff at St. Jude Medical Center, Placentia-Linda Hospital, and OC Regional Outpatient Surgical Center.

BOARD CERTIFICATION: He is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
for both the foot and the ankle.

APPOINTMENTS:
Dr. Lords has served on the Insurance and Patient Relations Committee for the California Podiatric Medical Association for 8 years reviewing claims.

He has served as President of the Orange County Podiatric Medical Association for two terms and on the Board of Directors for another 8 years.

He is currently a member of the Orange County, California, and American Podiatric Medical Associations.

He is a member of the Credentials Committee at Placentia-Linda Hospital for past 20 years.

He was a chairman of the Insurance and Patient Relations Committee for the California Podiatric Medical Association.

Member of the CME Committee - Placentia-Linda Hospital.

Vice President of the local chapter of American Diabetes Association 1995-2005
